"Removing Barriers To Homeownership Program"

HUD approved Homebuying and Pre-Purchase Training Program. An intensive Mortgage Readiness Empowerment Program to prepare consumers for homeownership presented by The Pride Through Empowerment Foundation, (A FDIC Money Smart Alliance Member), in partnership with NID Housing Counseling Agency, a HUD Approved Organization. 

Designed and implemented since 2003, this program provides comprehensive pre-purchase training and empowerment concepts, for first time buyers and all levels of consumers. A post purchase component to the program is included to aid homeowners (mortgagors) facing financial difficulty or seeking better financing and loan terms. 

Education and counseling are integral components of home ownership, and helps potential mortgagors increase their level of awareness for successful homeownership, understanding asset-building, create bankable consumers, while assisting consumers to prepare for the financing and home buying process, and retain homeownership. 

Four (4) weekly 3 hour class sessions - weekdays on Thursdays from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.  

Three (3)  weekly  4 hour class sessions. Saturdays 10:00 -2:00 p.m. (May 2008 Only)
