10 – 10:15 am Welcome by Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry
10:15 – 11:30 am Keynote speaker Christine Ingemi of Ingemi Corp. Inventor of the IHearSafe™ earbuds designed to keep volume at a safe level to prevent noise induced hearing loss. Christine was one of the finalists in the 2007 Modern Marvels Invent Now Challenge.
11 am – 12 pm Invention themed story hour in the Children’s Library.
12:30 – 2 pm A presentation on "How to Conduct a Patent Search" by Tom Turner from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
2 – 3 pm Heidi Gray from the Inventor’s Hall of Fame will do a hands on interactive program on inventions and inventors in the Children’s Library.
2 – 3:30 Build the tallest freestanding sculpture out of drinking straws and win a prize in the Teen Area.
2:30 – 4pm Local Resources for Inventors and Entrepreneurs – Panel discussion

Make time to visit the exhibit tables featuring local inventor groups, and area agencies that assist entrepreneurs. There will be programs for children and teens to participate in as well. Be sure to check out the patent models on display throughout the library on loan from the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame.
